Ability Mastery Systems

The Worlde of Legends™ Mastery Systems are designed to help you build unique Adventurers that often step outside the mold of traditional fantasy role-playing game classes. To help players achieve this uniqueness, each Worlde of Legends™ Adventurer is allowed up to two Abilities at the time of Adventurer creation, a Primary Ability and a Secondary Ability. Adventurers are only allowed one Primary Ability in Worlde of Legends™ Lite.  Each Ability is enhanced and powered-up as an Adventurer gains Experience Levels by advancing through the ranks of that Ability's Mastery System.

Mastery Systems are the path Adventurers will follow on their journeys to becoming the legendary heroes players imagine them to be.  Worlde of Legends™ Lite allows advancement through Mastery Rank 05 while the full version of the game allows advancement to Mastery Rank 10 (max).

Worlde of Legends™ Abilities and their respective Mastery Systems are divided into three categories: Combative Arts which are the melee and missile combat Abilities Arts Majika which are the majik Abilities, and Bardic Arts which are the Bard abilities.

WEAPONS MASTERY

Weapons Mastery is the Worlde of Legends™ Ability that allows an Adventurer to become proficient with many melee and/or missile weapons. As an Adventurer rises through Mastery Ranks, he/she is able to use more and more weapons with like proficiency without penalties use of the additional weapons beyond his/her chosen primary weapon(s). STAFF MASTERY

Staff Mastery is the Worlde of Legends™ Ability that allows an Adventurer to become proficient with a QuarterStaff or BoStaff. As an Adventurer rises through Mastery Ranks, he/she is able to use more and more staff combat maneuvers. These staff combat maneuvers involve jabs, stabs, whirls, and more. Wielding a staff as a staff master makes you a deadly blur of fast action attacks. In addition, starting at Mastery Rank 03, the Staff Master begins to receive Weapons Mastery Skilled + Actions. ARCHERY MASTERY

Archery Mastery is the Worlde of Legends™ Ability that allows an Adventurer to become proficient with a bow and arrows. As an Adventurer rises through Mastery Ranks, he/she is able to fire more and more arrows in a single round with increasing damage. TÝNJ'NAZ MASTERY

Týnj'Naz Mastery is the Worlde of Legends™ Ability that allows an Adventurer to become proficient with the martial arts. It is a mixture of hand, foot, and weapon attacks that are fast and deadly. As an Adventurer rises through Mastery Ranks, he/she learns new attack forms, new weapons, and becomes faster and faster gaining more and more attacks per round. In addition, starting at Mastery Rank 03, the Týnj'Naz Master (aka Wékán) begins to receive Týnj'Naz Mastery Skilled + Actions. Týnj'Naz Masters can receive Martial S+As and Ké Energy S+A's. Ké Energy is a pseudo-majikal force the Wékán gains through meditation which can be used to temporarily enhance skills, attributes, and other game mechanics. BARDIC ARTS MASTERY

Oh to be a Bard - the music, the dance, the poetry, the partying... ahem...I mean adventuring. Bardic Arts Mastery is the Worlde of Legends™ Ability that allows an Adventurer to be a true support to an Adventuring party through his/her artistic talent. A Bard uses music to tap into the majikal weave in order to create majikal effects.  Bards are also capable of creative performance in one of six creative arts: music, song, dance, acting, jestering, or a combination of arts. As an Adventurer rises through Mastery Ranks, he/she is able to learn more Combat Perfomance pieces that buff allies, debuff enemies, cause damage, or create majikal effects. In addition, starting at Mastery Rank 03, the Bard begins to receive Bardic Mastery Skilled + Actions. ARTS MAJIKA MASTERY

With great power comes great responsibility or at least enough responsibility to not have your majik spell blow up in your own face!. Arts Majika Mastery is the Worlde of Legends™ Ability that allows an Adventurer to manipulate threads of the Majikal Weave in order to create majik spells. A Majik Weaver can actually see thre threads of the Majikal Weave in the worlde around them and manipulate those threads in order to create majikal effects. There are four shools of majik (Maej, Maiv, Faeth, and Reun) which use one or more of the majikal elements (Air, Earth, Fire, Water, and Spirit) to perform majik spells. As an Adventurer rises through Mastery Ranks, he/she is able to learn more and more spells with increasing power and ability. In addition, starting at Mastery Rank 03, the Majik Weaver begins to receive Arts Majika Mastery Skilled + Actions.
