When a Worlde of Legends™ Adventurer reaches Mastery Rank 3, the "Skilled" Rank, in his/her chosen Ability, he/she is able to gain special "Skilled + Actions" (or S+As). These S+As provide special actions which can be used during combat that take your Adventurer from the average party member to heroic badass.
Each Ability Mastery System has no less than 32 unique S+As that Adventurers may choose at each Mastery Rank allowing you to customize your Adventurer. When you gain a new Mastery Rank in your chosen Ability, you also gain new Skilled + Actions.
As your Adenturer rises throught he Mastery Ranks or your chosen Ability, not only do you gain new Skilled + Actions, but the S+As you already have increase in power and/or capability. Each new Mastery Rank provides an increase in one or more of the following areas: Range, Duration, Area of Effect, Combat Effect, EAM/WAM Use, Avoidance Chance, or Initiative.
